so, another school term kicks off to a start. it was good seeing everybody again. so far i've had lectures for OS (ECE 354), databases (CS 448), specifications (dubbed specs & reqs by jakooist) (SE 463), and microeconomics (ECON 101).

all of them seem pretty decent so far, although i have a hard time understanding the databases prof. must sit closer to the front from now on. larry smith for econ 101, so that should be a blast. i have yet to have my first lecture for "the physics of how stuff works" (SCI 206) - that's a night class on thursdays. and finally, i'm taking german 101 via distance ed... the online course thingamajig seems even more disorganized this term than in previous terms. oh well.

Hi Kats,

I just discovered you have a blog. Hurray.

Are you planning to buy the books for SE 463? They look expensive, but I don't know how useful they'd be.

Yeah.. I've ordered the two SE 463 books online (Amazon and Barnesandnoble) since they seemed the cheapest there. And we're splitting the cost across our group, so it should be not so bad (i.e. around $25 per person).

Nice. I'm thinking of just getting the first book from Amazon because I bet the UML stuff is searchable on the internet.

If you can guess who I am correctly (or even give three names, one of which is mine), I'll buy you a candy bar =).

Is this iterative? Or do I have to give you all three names simultaneously? Anyway, the first guess is Nishant.
