I read the article on /.
I have a thing you should (or could) fix on your site. In the recent comments section, you display html tags. Is that "by design"? Not a big deal really, but I know you. You don't like that :)

yeah, that is by design. i wanted it to show a tiny bit of the comment, and i didn't want it to render the tags like <br> and stuff, because that would screw up the layout. so i just made it escape the html tags. i could have stripped them out completely, but i didn't really see the point - that page is only there to indicate a new comment has been made.

anyway, the preferred method of pinging my blog is the rss feed.
