So, lots of brouhaha in the news about how some Microsoft employee in Sweden went against corporate policy and ended up bribing a bunch of firms to vote in favor of OOXML becoming an ISO standard. Of course, this is just the latest incident in which Microsoft has allegedly partaken in unethical behavior in their push to get OOXML approved as an ISO standard. For those actually interested in a ODF-biased-but-still-relatively-impartial view of things, stop by Rob Weir's blog. I'm also curious to see how people view this behavior by Microsoft, so it's poll time!

Unethical! I would never ever work for Microsoft.
Eh. If they can buy off Sweden, they can buy my morals.
MS *has* bought my morals. Screw fair standards processes!
I work at MS, but will hypothetically consider quitting.
I refuse to take a stance because Microsoft KNOWS WHERE I LIVE.

Great. Instead of selling a car with the hood welded shut, they are selling one with the engine encased in glass.

And in response to the comment I see forming in your brain, damn straight I'm being biased and one-sided. Whaddya gonna do about it?

for all the good it does me to be able to open the car hood, it might as well be welded shut.
