so while i was looking for a web-based newsgroup server that listed uw.cs.cs343 for my last post, i came across this: http://www.eng.uwaterloo.ca/~kwhyte/news.cgi. i don't think i've run across any pre-made software that generates newsgroup listings and threaded post info like that, so i'm assuming kwhyte wrote the perl script by hand. nifty.

the password is ridiculously easy to get. You can use mine of you want (it's auto generated. I've yet to find a place where I can change it)
