Book #15 of 2019 is Cinnamon Skin, of the Travis McGee series. I liked this one more the ones I've read so far because it was all about the nitty-gritty of the chase. Surprisingly few dead ends though (seems to be a theme in his book - somebody hypothesizes something and it invariably turns out to be truth).
